JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon’s pay tops pre-crisis record

Bank reported a profit of $7.07bn, or $1.98 a share, in its latest quarterly earnings

JPMorgan chief executive James Dimon received a compensation package valued at $31m in 2018, up 5% from $29.5m in 2017, according to a Thursday securities filing.

The CEO earned a base salary of $1.5m and $5m in cash, the same as a year ago, and $24.5m in restricted equity, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. His pay exceeds his record compensation of $30m in 2007 before the financial crisis.
