Veteran JPMorgan dealmaker Harry Hampson is leaving the US bank after almost 40 years for a role in the public sector.

Hampson, who is currently chair of investment banking at JPMorgan, is departing to become director of corporate finance at UK Government Investments, according to a statement and a memo seen by Financial News.
