US investment bank, which last week lost its global co-head of equities distribution, hires senior equity derivatives sales banker from Nomura in a new role

JP Morgan, which last week lost its global co-head of equities distribution, has made a senior equity derivatives sales hire from Nomura in a new role created at the bank.

Laurent Ichard will join the bank as head of European equity derivatives flow sales, a spokeswoman at the bank has confirmed. Ichard joins from Nomura, where he was last co-head of European equity flow sales in London, according to his Bloomberg profile.
