JPMorgan picks Caplin

JPMorgan is to consolidate nearly all of its US and European real-time information portals, built for its buy-side institutional clients, onto a Real Time Text Protocol (RTTP) developed by Caplin Systems.

MorganMarkets, the bank's global information portal for pricing, research, analytics, and other financial tools, now has 17,000 users. The site also provides single sign-on access to electronic trading via JPeX Online. MorganMarkets has been converted to take advantage of web technology patented by Caplin, allowing the bank to embed its real-time data directly into its existing portal.
