Bank continues fintech push with deal that could take it into competition with the likes of Stripe and Block

JPMorgan strikes deal for payments company Renovite

JPMorgan has agreed to buy cloud-based payments technology company Renovite, the bank announced on 12 September.

The bank said the deal would help it build its “next-generation merchant” acquiring platform, which processes payments on behalf of businesses, and help it modernise its payments offerings.
