JPMorgan is set to lift the long-standing European bonus cap for senior bankers after the UK government scrapped the limit in October.

The Wall Street bank has followed rival Goldman Sachs in scrapping the limit on bonus payments put in place in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, according to a person familiar with the matter.
