JPMorgan has stretched its lead at the top of the UK investment banking fee league tables, as revenue jumped 49% after a dismal period for the City.

The Wall Street bank held 10.9% of the UK fee pool in the first nine months of the year, according to data provider Dealogic, topping the league tables after finishing third at the same point last year.
