Charlie Jacobs spent 31 years at Linklaters and has been co-heading JPMorgan’s UK investment bank for just three months, but says he has taken to the switch like a “duck to water”.

It helps that Jacobs, who was an M&A rainmaker at Linklaters before being promoted to its senior partner five years ago, has arrived as JPMorgan prepares to round off its best-ever year for its UK investment bank.
