Jamie Dimon said the global US bank is pausing donations to rethink its giving in light of the violent siege of the US Capitol which led to five deaths and the second impeachment of President Donald Trump.

The bank is “taking a pause, a little bit of a deep breath, figuring out what we should change and how we should change it,” JPMorgan’s chair and CEO said during a virtual National Retail Federation conference on 13 January.
