Forstmann Little names new chairman

A few days after the death of co-founder Ted Forstmann, private equity firm Forstmann Little appoints hedge fund pioneer Julian Robertson as its chairman

A few days after the death of co-founder Ted Forstmann, private equity firm Forstmann Little named hedge fund pioneer Julian Robertson chairman.

Robertson, who founded Tiger Management, will advise Forstmann Little on its three remaining portfolio companies: sports and entertainment company IMG Worldwide, fitness chain 24 Hour Fitness USA and trade show organiser ENK International.
