Julius Baer names top investment officer

Zurich-based Bank Julius Baer has promoted Dr. Venkatraman Anantha-Nageswaran to the role of chief investment officer, a position that had been vacant for the past year after Gerard Piasko's departure.

Anantha-Nageswaran will continue to act as chief investment officer for Asia-Pacific at Bank Julius Baer, a position he has held since 2006 when he joined the firm. He has also taken on the position of chief executive for the investment solutions group since November.
