Swiss bank Julius Baer said it is in “advanced discussions” with the US Department of Justice over a multi-million-dollar settlement of corruption and bribery claims involving world football governing body Fifa.

The DOJ has been investigating the bank's connection to alleged money laundering and corruption related to Fifa officials and associated sports marketing and media companies since 2015.
