Julius Baer plans to split dividend payments into two

The bank maintains strong capital, funding and liquidity but is adhering to a request from the Swiss financial regulator

Julius Baer said Tuesday that it plans to split its proposed dividend distribution into two payments and will postpone its annual general meeting until May in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Swiss private bank has proposed splitting its 1.50 Swiss franc ($1.55) 2019 dividend into two equal payments, with the first CHF0.75 distribution due on 25 May and the second distribution due in November.
