Julius Baer Group is to axe its branch banking operations in London and outsource its administration in a bid to focus on investment management.

Following a strategic review, the Swiss private bank has decided to focus in its core competency, private client investment management and institutional asset management, said Julian York, vice-president business development and marketing.
