Junk sector shows hint of recovery ahead of new deals

After two weeks of plumetting bond prices, European high yield investors have indicated confidence that bond sales for Alfa Laval and Frederic Grohe could succeed.

High yield has suffered worse than any other credit markets in October. But signs of stability emerged on Thursday morning. Prices of some of the worst performing telecom bonds recovered, with Versatel's bonds bouncing back to 65 from a low of 57. Benchmark industrial bonds have recovered as well.
