Jupiter Fund Management's new chief executive said the firm's strategy of targeting institutional clients has started to pay off, as outflows from the FTSE 250-listed firm slowed during the third quarter.

Matthew Beesley, who took over the top job at the start of October from Andrew Formica, has also earmarked thematic funds as a potential growth area for the business, with plans to launch a range of products in this sector early in 2023.
