Jupiter expands in the US with key hires from Janus Henderson, Allianz

US business is based on four high-demand platforms, including disruption and innovation, sustainable investing, emerging economies, and lower-correlated income and alternative strategies

UK-based asset manager Jupiter said it is increasing its business in the US to meet rising institutional interest in its strategies.

The firm, with assets under management of £60bn, has named David Schrock as head of US Institutional. Schrock, who has 25 years of experience in the industry, joined Jupiter from Janus Henderson Investors. At Jupiter, he will report to the head of US distribution, Taylor Carrington, who established the Denver-based Jupiter office late in 2020.
