Jupiter Asset Management, the UK fund manager, has launched a second generation environmentally-responsible investment fund, the Jupiter Global Green Investment Trust (JGGIT).

The fund will invest in companies providing profitable solutions to environmental problems or developing early stage technologies. It will focus on areas such as water recycling, waste minimization, public transport and the quality of food manufacture.
