Jupiter’s Bonham Carter to relinquish board role

The 60-year-old, who was appointed vice-chair in 2014 after stepping down as CEO, will relinquish the board position at the company’s annual shareholder meeting in 2021

Edward Bonham Carter, one of the City’s most recognisable figures, is to step down as vice-chair of Jupiter Fund Management to take on stewardship role at the FTSE 250 listed asset manager.

Bonham Carter, who was appointed vice-chair in 2014 after stepping down as group chief executive, will relinquish the board position at the company’s annual shareholder meeting in 2021. He will become chair of Jupiter’s stewardship committee and its corporate social responsibility committee with immediate effect.
