Alexander Darwall, the top-performing European equities manager at Jupiter Asset Management, is quitting to launch his own investment boutique, Devon Equity Management.

In a statement, Jupiter said: “Alexander has told the company that he would like to fulfil a long-held ambition to launch a small investment management business.
