Kabel Deutschland gives regulators ultimatum

Kabel Deutschland, Germany's largest cable network operator, said it will walk away from a €2.7bn ($3.3bn) regional cable deal if the German competition authorities fail to approve its new offer.

Kabel Deutschland, which is presenting to the Bundeskartellamt, the German Federal Cartel Office, today has pledged to triple its investment in internet service upgrades to secure regulatory approval.
