Virus forces Kames and Janus to suspend dealing in flagship property funds

CBRE tells fund managers it can no longer accurately value properties within the funds

Asset managers Kames Capital and Janus Henderson have been forced to suspend dealing in flagship property funds because of the huge negative impact of the coronavirus on global markets.

London and Edinburgh-based Kames was first to do so on 16 March, when chief executive Stephen Jones wrote to investors to inform them of the move, which affects the Property Income and Property Income Feeder funds.
