JP Morgan's global co-head of financial sponsors, named by Financial News as one of the 100 most influential women in European capital markets in each of the last two years, is to take a new role in the US, with the bank's European head of technology, media and telecoms set to replace her.
Karen Simon, a JP Morgan veteran of almost 30 years and a member of the financial sponsors group since 2004, has been appointed to vice chair of investment banking, global oil and gas, according to a memo seen by Financial News. A spokeswoman for JP Morgan confirmed the move.
