Sternberg to depart Oxford colleges' fund manager

Asset management veteran, who was previously global CIO at Morgan Grenfell, will step down at the end of 2014

Karl Sternberg, the asset management industry veteran who founded Oxford Investment Partners to manage endowment money for various Oxford colleges, is to step down from his role at the end of this year.

Sternberg, who until 2005 was global chief investment officer at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management, a predecessor to Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, founded the multi-manager firm in 2006 alongside colleague Paul Berriman.
