Kas Bank recruits UK chief for pensions big data push

Dutch custodian recruits Chris Sier, high-profile advocate of fee transparency, to lead new drive

Chris Sier, the former policeman turned management consultant who led a charge against opaque asset management fees and turnover costs in the pensions sector, has re-emerged at Dutch custodian Kas Bank to lead its UK drive.

Sier, who was named UK managing director of Kas Bank on Wednesday, will now lead the Dutch group's efforts to build its business in Britain with a new focus on providing data and cost analysis to pension schemes.
