Deutsche Bank has advised Kaupthing Bank on its 52.8bn Icelandic kronur (€606m) equity issue having previously acted as broker when the Icelandic bank built up its stake in Singer & Friedlander, the UK fund manager and broker.

It was the country's largest ever equity issue, according to Dealogic, the investment banking research provider.
