City professionals, deprived of the chance to shine at their jobs due to sluggish markets, leapt at the chance to put one over on their rivals in a different arena.

Around 26,000 people from the financial services industry took part in the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge 3.5-mile run in London's Battersea Park last week.
