The UK needs an economic “reset” after the “twin crises” of Brexit and Covid-19, leader of the Labour Party Keir Starmer has said.

“After the twin crises of Brexit and Covid we need to reset,” Starmer wrote in City AM on 22 November. “In many ways, so did the Labour Party when I took over 18 months ago. That reset meant demonstrating that Labour was, once again, the party of business.
