A raft of leading law firms have scored advisory roles as private equity house TDR Capital takes a majority stake in British supermarket chain Asda.

Zuber Issa, who previously owned the business with his brother Mohsin, has sold his shares to the buyout giant, raising TDR’s stake to 67.5%. Mohsin Issa will retain a 22.5% stake and Walmart a 10% stake.
