KKR has $2bn and counting for global credit strategy

The big buyout firm has built its credit assets under management to $67 billion

KKR has raised more than $2bn for its Global Credit Opportunities strategy so far and is still accepting new investments for the open-ended vehicle, according to people familiar with the situation.

The strategy calls for investing in fixed income securities and financial instruments mainly in corporate credit markets, one of the people said.
