KKR takes minority stake in Kingston

Kohlberg Kravis Roberts has sold its interest in Omnetica, an IT services provider, to UK telecoms provider Kingston Communications for £169m (€242.5m) in cash and stock in a deal that leaves it with a minority stake in Kingston.

The deal, which Kingston financed through a combination of £99m in cash and £70m in shares, gives the US buyout firm a 25% shareholding in the combined company.
