Klarna taps Silicon Valley and Wall Street for top board appointments

Swedish fintech lender Klarna has appointed Silicon Valley veteran Michael Moritz as chairman and scooped up executives from a host of other finance and technology heavyweights to beef up its board.

Moritz, a partner at venture capital giant Sequoia Capital and a former board member for Google, PayPal and Yahoo, will transition to becoming Klarna’s chairman after serving as a director at the startup since 2010.
