Knight Trading lands veteran Goldman salesman

Knight Trading Group, the largest marketmaker in Nasdaq stocks, has poached Robert Stellato from Goldman Sachs to head-up its international sales efforts.

Stellato, a 30-year veteran of institutional markets, was most recently managing director and co-head of Goldman's Nasdaq division in New York where he helped spearhead the firm's institutional business with the burgeoning exchange in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
