Peter Koenig, head of institutional sales at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in Germany, is to leave the company.

Koenig, who will leave at the end of June, joined from Commerzbank, Germany's third-largest listed bank, five years ago. His departure comes as he takes on chairmanship of the investment committee of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Betriebliche Altersversorgung, the German pension association which is based in Heidelberg.
