KPMG hit with £3.2m fine over Quindell audit

The Financial Reporting Council has fined Big Four accountancy firm KPMG and one of its partners over misconduct in relation to their work for scandal-hit London-listed Quindell.

The action by the watchdog comes as it toughens its oversight of auditing firms following criticisms that it is too lenient on them.
