Lehman Brothers has added an eighth senior adviser for its European business with the hire of Rolf Krebs, a pharmaceutical specialist and former chief executive of CH Boehringer Ingleheim, the world's largest private pharmaceuticals company.

Krebs, who has also worked at German pharmaceuticals company Bayer, sits on the supervisory boards of several companies including Air Liquide, as well as on the advisory boards of private equity firms Apax Partners and VCG Venture Capital Gesellschaft.
