Grant Kvalheim, global head of credit products at Barclays Capital, is to become head of investment banking at Barclays, following the appointment of previous head Naguib Kheraj to an expanded and more senior role.

Kvalheim, who was hired earlier this year from Deutsche Bank, where he was head of origination, will be based in London and New York. He will continue to run credit products globally.
