UK's wealthy teeter on the Laffer Curve

A sketch made on a napkin in a restaurant in 1974 could hold the key to fears over an intellectual and financial drain from the UK, following tax hikes and bonus restrictions.

The Laffer Curve, shown above, was named after US Economist Arthur Laffer who reportedly sketched the curve on a coffee napkin to illustrate President Gerald Ford's tax increase and its effect on wealthy US tax payers.
