Large US banks pledge $160m to coronavirus causes — and more is expected

JPMorgan has made donations amounting to $50m, following moves by Bank of America and Wells Fargo

Three of the world’s biggest banks have donated nearly $160m to causes set up to tackle the impact of the coronavirus on society, with more large institutions expected to make sizeable commitments to charities. 

JPMorgan, the world’s biggest bank by market capitalisation, has made donations amounting to $50m to address the “immediate public health and long-term economic challenges” created by the Covid-19 pandemic.
