Deutsche Bank's wealth management unit has hired John Larkin as a regional head of alternative investments in the Americas. He was previously a managing director of HFR Asset Management, a Chicago-based provider of hedge fund indices.

The bank said Larkin would oversee distribution of portfolios of funds of hedge funds, single-manager hedge funds, private equity and real estate.
