Barclays has named a new head of mergers and acquisitions in the Americas, becoming the third bank to make senior level changes to its advisory business in just over a week.

The bank announced that Larry Hamdan, who most recently headed up global industrials M&A, will retain that role but also become head of M&A Americas at Barclays.
