LaSalle names steel boss for coal portfolio

LaSalle Investment Management, the property manager that runs the British Coal Schemes' £2.5bn (€3.7bn) real estate portfolio, has replaced Bryan Ellinthorpe, the fund's manager.

Ellinthorpe is retiring after 34 years in the job and will be succeeded by Richard Debney, who most recently ran £500m worth of property at the British Steel pension fund.
