Two UK online travel companies, lastminute.com and ebookers, are among the three best performing American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) from European companies in the first half of this year, according to the Bank of New York.

ADRs are securities which allow shares in foreign companies to be traded and settled in the US just like a domestic US stock.
