Latham & Watkins, a US-based international law firm, has filled the gap in their international mergers and acquisitions capability by hiring three senior antitrust lawyers from Coca-Cola.
Abbott Lipsky, Coca-Cola's former head of legal, has joined Latham with Michael Egge and John Colahan, two other members of the beverage company's international competition team. Their arrival comes in the wake of Latham's rapid growth in Europe this year, as the firm strives to provide a multi-jurisdictional law firm for M&A.
