US law firm Latham & Watkins appointed two mental health counsellors for its UK staff amid fears of burnout among junior lawyers across the sector.

The California-headquartered firm introduced the two counsellors for UK staff at the start of 2022, following a record year for global M&A that led to long hours for transactional and financing lawyers across the City.
