Lazard AM troubles intensify with further departures

Lazard Asset Management, the embattled investment house, has been hit by the loss of two more hedge fund managers, bringing the number of senior departures from the firm to five in less than a month.

The latest fund managers to leave the firm are Tom Ellis and Ben Guest. Their exit follows the resignation yesterday of Robert Cope, a senior US-based hedge fund manager and Rupert Tyer, a director in the global active funds division.
