Caisse d'Epargne, France's largest savings bank, is set to become Lazard's anchor shareholder with an 8-10% stake when the investment bank is listed on the New York Stock Exchange next year.
The plan, which would involve an investment of $200m-$250m (€150m-€188m) was discussed this week at a board meeting of Caisse d'Epargne, according to a report in Les Echos, the French business daily.
