Lazard has appointed a third vice-chairman in seven months, this time to focus on strategic investments and initiatives for the bank.

Donald Drapkin will be vice-chairman of Lazard International and chairman of Lazard's investment committee in the US. His responsibilities will include investment banking as well as acting as an advisor to clients and look at merchant banking and M&A deals.
