Lazard snaps up former Deutsche banker

Andrew Nason, a former managing director at Deutsche Bank, will join Lazard's financial institutions team in London.

Nason used to work in the financial institutions group at Deutsche, and has now resigned. He will join Lazard in the autumn. Deutsche has been building its financial institutions group capabilities for some time now. In 2001 it hired Gregg Sando from UBS Warburg as head of financial institutions group, and in April this year the bank brought on board Louis Wolfe as chairman of financial institutions investment banking. He was previously at Merrill Lynch.
