LCH’s SwapClear hits rate derivatives record

LCH, the clearing house majority-owned by the London Stock Exchange Group, says it cleared record volumes of interest rate derivatives in 2016.

Through its SwapClear service, LCH processed more than $665 trillion in notional trades over the course of the year, according to a January 6 statement - up 25% on 2015.
